the Daily Misfortune is a quotidian reminder of the other side of fortune.

There are too many fortune tellers and fortune cookies in this world to have need for another one. Hence, this blog attempts to give you what could or could have happened to you everyday, but didn’t. And so, in a subtle way, tell you how lucky you are!

And if, by sheer coincidence, a misfortune does befall you, read again tomorrow. I guarantee you will be much luckier tomorrow and dodge that misfortune.

Thanks for following my blog. Glad to have you. What creative and humorous ideas you have.

  5. I just added your site to my blogroll: http://thedailygraff.com/

I can’t add another category to the blogroll title, so you’ll just have to fall under “Motivational,” but The Daily Misfortune DOES motivate people to work at NOT making your predicitons come true!

  6. Guess what…I’ve awarded you the Versatile Blogger Award! I guess it’s a little like a blog chain letter, and you can take it or leave it, if you like. Should you decide to accept this award, there are a few things you need to do:

    1. Thank me in a blog post, and provide a link back to my blog, http://yourbrainonpandas.com/
    2. List 7 things about you that we, your readers may not know. (my favorite part)
    3. Pass the award on to 7 more people, with a link to their blogs as part of the list. There may at one time been a requirement to add them to your blogroll, but I can’t remember, as I have procrastinated doing this for long enough that I lost track of the original email instructions.

Oh I think I’m going to love this.

  8. Lovely – fortune cookies never come true anyway. At least if these misfortunes don’t come true, it won’t be disappointing!

    • Hope they never come true! There is always that sense of satisfaction in missing an unfortunate event 🙂

    • Ran out of time! Will resume again soon…

      • Without your help all these months I have been walking in the Valley of the Shadow of Misfortune (with no guide).

  12. Thanks for the like on my Baby Death Cartoon! Quite the collection of misfortunes you have here!

  13. With your wry wit (try saying that fast 3 times), you have gained another follower. I’m sorry 😉

  14. Nice 🙂 Thanks for the laughs always and in a way you are correct that some of the worst things can happen!!
